CTA – Take the Green line out to either the Harlem (downtown oak park) or Oak Park (Oak Park ave shopping district) Stops. Or Take the Blue Line to the Oak Park stop and either ride or walk the 2 miles north to downtown, but be sure to visit Taste of Brazil, Hole in the Wall Custard or the Conservatory before you head north.

Biking – We suggest, from the city, taking either a northern or southern route through the west side of the city. In the north we suggest Diversey west to Oak Park Avenue south. From the south we suggest 35th east to California north to 31st west and take East Avenue north.

Driving – Downtown oak Park is on situated on Lake street between Harlem and Oak Park Ave. The closest expressway it 290, the Eisenhower. There are a few parking garages and may metered lots, but parking information is scarce.
